This was the record release party for "A Bitter Pill To Swallow", a compilation of Providence RI bands. The Crowns inclusion was an early pre album version of "If He Can't...".
This poster was designed and screen printed by Shepard Fairy at his Alternate Graphics studio (notice the Andre the Giant inclusion). Shepard also printed the first Crowns T-shirts as well.
This massive show was held at a warehouse loft in the middle of downtown Providence and was quite the party as all bands listed on the poster played sets.
