Bowlerama, LA - 2000 (VIDEOS)

Bowlerama, LA - 2000 (VIDEOS)

You ever had the kind of day where everything just went the right way, all down the line? That was the Los Angeles Bowlerama show on March 11, 2000, for the Crowns.

From the moment the Crowns pulled up to this bowling alley in Glendale, they knew it was going to be a crazy show. The line was around the block, and people were loud and excited.

Any band that tours a lot has certain "milestone" or "breakthrough" gigs, and this was one of them for the Crowns.

"This show was intense, people were packed in and amped up. They seemed to know every word of every song; the sing-alongs were epic. The crowd was rowdy, and I really enjoyed the back and forth with them. I ended up slamming my head into the ceiling and breaking the light. I made sure to stay after our set to fix it. The promoters were so nice.

This was also the show where we met Nick 13 from Tiger Army, as he was side stage the whole time. Our bands would end up touring together the next year. Tiger Army Never Die!" - Jason
