The Dollhut was like candy to the Crowns; anytime they had a chance to play there, they took it. It was always such a great time, a small juke joint with hardly a stage, so the band could really connect with the crowd.

This gig was the second of the day for them, as that afternoon they had played the Hootenanny over in Irvine.
