First Three Shows - 1994

First Three Shows - 1994

April 1994 was a big month for the Royal Crowns. Jack, Jason, Johnny, and Tina had been practicing enough to put together a short live set.

Debut show: Live on WRIU (Rhode Island University college radio).

Second Show: Club Babyhead in Providence, RI with Dick Dale and Providence's own Boss Fuel.

Third Show: Club Babyhead in Providence, RI with Reverend Horton Heat and Possum Dixon.

"Dick Dale was enjoying a resurgence thanks to Pulp Fiction, so the club was packed. I remember we all wore lone ranger masks and piled up gold cardboard crowns on stage for people to wear on the stage for the Dick Dale show. I don't remember much about the show as it was all a blur, but I do remember coming off stage and telling the band that it was the last time I would wear a mask." - Jason
