The Crowns played the legendary Rathskellar many times in the nineties, but this show was a standout. The quickly ascending Dropkick Murphys had asked them to play this show with them. The Crowns were of course, honored to play.
It was an eclectic and fun show with street punk, rockabilly, and Oi bands all sharing that tiny Rat dressing room, and it kicked off the Crowns friendship with the Dropkicks.
